Science publishes new study on the development of fairness and inequality acceptance

A new NHH study on fairness and development of inequality acceptance among Norwegian school children is launched today by Science (Friday 28 May 2010). The study shows that perceptions of fairness change fundamentally in adolescence and that with age children increasingly accept inequalities based upon individual achievements.

NHH Cleaners on Strike

All the cleaners in the Merino building and four out of five cleaners in NHH's main building are on strike from Thursday 20 May. All study halls, toilets and offices remain open, but if the hygienic conditions no longer are considered satisfactory, facilities might be closed. Employees and students are requested to show consideration of the situation.

Opening hours during Easter

The opening hours at NHH are reduced during Easter.On Monday 29 and Tuesday 30 March the buildings are open from 8 AM until 4 PM.

Stipendee profile: Experimental economics

Trond Halvorsen started out as an engineering student at NTNU, but decided that he wanted an education with more concrete relevance concerning society, and moved to NHH. Honorary Doctor at NHH awarded Nobel Prize

Professor Oliver E. Williamson, who is an Honorary Doctor at NHH, has won the Nobel Prize in economics. He shares the prize with Professor Elinor Ostrom from the University of Indiana. She is the first woman to receive the prize in economics.
