Honorary Doctor at NHH awarded Nobel Prize

Professor Oliver E. Williamson, who is an Honorary Doctor at NHH, has won the Nobel Prize in economics. He shares the prize with Professor Elinor Ostrom from the University of Indiana. She is the first woman to receive the prize in economics.

Wireless connection for NHH guests

NHH's IT-department recently launched a service that gives visitors access to NHH`s wireless network. In short, guests log on to the wireless network named "nhh-guest", submit their mobile telephone number and get access to an account that lasts for 12 hours.

Three double degree partnerships

NHH-student Robert Christensen has been granted the Best Business School Student Award for 2009 by the consultant company Universum and Siviløkonomene. A combination of academic achievements and his involvement in extracurricular work helped Christensen win the award.

How can we understand something as abstract as capital? How can we explain changes in stock markets, when we do not relate to them concretely? "We understand the world with the help of metaphors," explains NHH stipendee, Christian Langerfeld.
