NHH Forum is an annual, academically oriented event organised by faculty and students at NHH in cooperation with a corporate partner.

The Forum was established in 2008, and the first corporate participant was StatoilHydro.

This year's participant is another of NHH's long-term research partners: Telenor.

NHH and the company, formerly known as Televerket, launched a cooperation in telecommunications research in the early 1990s. Since then the partnership has been expanded to other research areas, and Telenor has financed several NHH research projects.

The main topics at the forum this Friday are internationalisation, corporate social responsibility and dynamic budgeting, and all lectures will be held in English. The first part of the event takes place in NHH's main hall, the Aula.

The first speaker is CEO of the Telenor Group and NHH alumnus, Jon Fredrik Baksaas. His lecture is titled Going forward - the Telenor way.

After his speech Baksaas will answer questions from the audience, before NHH Professors Karin Thorburn from the Department of Finance and Management Science and Victor D. Norman from the Department of Economics give their comments.

Executive Vice-President and Head of Communications and Corporate Responsibility, Hilde M. Tonne will give a lecture called Being a responsible global company, while CEO of Telenor Norway, Ragnar Kårhus, will talk about dynamic budgeting in his lecture Telenor Norway going dynamic.

The forum's first part will be rounded up with a Q&A-session, where the speakers will be joined by Rector Jan I. Haaland.

When the session in the Aula is finished, the forum will continue with mingling and opportunities for further dialogue in NHH's canteen. For the occasion the canteen will be divided into two parts named "Responsible business" and "Telenor Norway going dynamic."
